We’re glad you could join us for the 16th Annual Bruening-Loncaric Invitational at Rend Lake.
We’ve mailed a list of foursomes and tee times for Saturday to all participants. For those arriving on Saturday morning, we hope this will help you plan your departure time for Rend Lake. Please note, we are again using a double start this year. We will be teeing off on Nos. 1 and 10. Please arrive at your appointed tee, fifteen minutes before you are due to tee off. Your foursome’s tee time is the first time listed above your names. The other times show approximately when you should start the next nine holes. We hope this will help our large group keep pace for the day.
We will play 27 holes on Saturday and 18 on Sunday. Scores from Saturdays’ play will determine foursomes and teams for Sunday. Teams will play as a foursome on Sunday, in a best ball scramble. Team score on Sunday will determine our Team Champions.
Saturdays’ play will also determine our Long Drive Champ, Closest-to-the-Pin Champ and Low Gross Champion. These individuals will be rewarded at the banquet held on Saturday evening at 6:30 PM. The banquet will be held under the pavilion, just off the eighteenth green. We will announce the Team Champions on Sunday shortly after all groups have finished.
We are again pleased to announce that our charitable contributions will be going to St Vincent Home for Children. We’ll have raffle and 50/50 tickets available during Saturday evenings’ event. The cost will be $5.00 each, or 5 for $20.00 for the raffle and $1.00 each, or 6 for $5.00 on the 50/50 jackpot. Some of the raffle items include BLI Gift Certificate, golf bags, golf apparel and sports memorabilia. Be assured ALL proceeds will benefit St Vincent.
